A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) enables someone you trust (the attorney) to make decisions on your behalf about your property and affairs or your welfare, at a time when you lack the mental capacity to take those decisions yourself. This can include paying your bills, collecting your income and benefits or selling your house. You can restrict the powers that the attorney has if, for instance, you do not want them to have the power to sell your home.
We can simply provide advice on how to obtain an LPA or we can look after all the paperwork if you wish. We offer our services on a fixed fee basis where the fee depends on what you are asking us to do.
